You take about 3 months to get full Akkan gear if doing normal. 1.5 month if doing hard. There's really no reason to fomo and think it's too expensive when you can slowly hone all that over 3 months. This is the cost from honing 1 Akkan piece to +15 (1600). If you get lucky and get a akkan clear the title+some ilvls from the piece itself is more helpful than 1-2 level 9s Hell, its probably more expensive to hone from 1590 to 1600 than making a brand new 1580. The shard and mat costs are ridiculous. To hone to 1600 from 1580 with average luck, you need: -6.7 million honor shards (majority need to be bought since we have so little time before Akkan release) -51.5 million silver.
